Dewdrop Imaginings

by Melanie White

Dewdrops cling to leaves and grass; it won't be long until they pass into some great unknown abyss that science explains is not amiss.

Something about atoms we all share that gives us a reason that we should care about all life forms on the planet with us: a reason to not throw others under the bus.

Do you think humanity is ready for that? We could put behind us the "tit for tat." Instead, we could focus more on giving the essence of us that makes life worth living.

We could all extend an olive branch— be the first to start the avalanche
of generosity and helping others— knowing that we are all brothers

and sisters on life's family tree. Let's just forget the culture of me first and think many levels above, until all the world is filled with love.
